Photoshop CS is now CS etc.

Eleven of our Sig members came together to brainstorm what direction we want our sig to go.  Out of the 11, five work in Elements,  eight work in Photoshop 5 or 6, and Six work in Lightroom.  So obviusly, there is a lot of crossing over.

On top of that, there is one aperture user, four Nik users, 2 professional portrait users, and three topaz users.   If anything, we are diversified!

So we worked out a schedule, with just a few holes in it, to touch on the interests and needs of our members.   Some of us will want to learn more about the programs we have, others will want to explore the programs available to see what direction they want to go.

Our schedule for the year is as follows:

Dec 6th:  MartySchwerin-Photo matrix HDR

January, no meeting

Feb 7th, Joyce Seddon, Working with Nik Color Effex 4

March 7th Dik Salsbury-Color Range, Refine Edge, Multiple Selection tools

April 4th:  Available

May 2nd:  Stan Bormann- TBA

June Elise Morris:  Light room Cropping and overview

July-Sept no meeting

Oct 10 Shirley Bormann- TBA

I am so proud of our group for getting so organized!  There are still chairs available in the Sig meetings so come join our group!  The more the merrier!

I will let you know if Elements can be used with it or if it is only Photoshop.

For Example, For our December meeting,  Photomatrix works with Lightroom, and Aperature.  It is also a filter plug in for CS2 or higher.  AND it is a "stand alone"  meaning you don't need to start with an Adobe product like Elements, Lightroom or CS first, so everyone should be interested.

Have a great Thanksgiving!  and see you in December!
